This year's National PTA Reflections Program had the theme of "I am Hopeful Because..."
After the school-level judging, these four students’ pieces advanced to the Katy Council level.
As a result, Nolan Yee and Vivian Lee have also advanced to the state-level judging. This is a wonderful achievement as nearly 60,000 students participate in the program and less than 3% of those advance to Texas PTA.
Way to go, Mustangs!

The Nominating Committee is currently seeking nominations for Taylor HS PTSA Officer positions for the 2023-2024 school year: President, VP Volunteers, Secretary and Treasurer.
​***President: Shall preside at all meetings of the Association and shall coordinate the work of all Officers, Chairs and Committees.
***VP Volunteers: Shall recruit, manage and retain volunteers; shall schedule and aide in all fundraising and programs events; shall report volunteer hours to the District
***VP Membership: Shall be responsible for creating and implementing a membership plan, promoting membership throughout the year, providing membership reports at PTA board and association meetings, collecting dues, and distributing membership cards.
***Secretary: Shall record the minutes of all executive and general board meetings of the Association; shall keep files of all official documents for permanent records.
***Treasurer: Shall have custody of all funds of the Association and shall keep a full and accurate account; leads budget and financial reconciliation committees
